About Us

Hello and welcome…

Reselling and thrifting is not just a way to make money for us, it is also a lifestyle choice enabling us to recycle, repurpose and rehome items that may have otherwise made their way to landfill. It’s rewarding to know that we are able to unite our customers with items they have been searching for, and would be unable to find locally.  Earning our living reselling means that we are an active part of a circular economy and we make conscious choices to live our lives in a way that have as little impact on our planet as possible.

We make YouTube videos to share our journey and to help and guide others who are considering, and who are currently, making money reselling online…

Our blog is a place to continue to share our reselling experiences and lifestyle.  Look out for exclusive hints and tips, reselling stories and a look into our lives as resellers.

  1. HI Nic
I have only recently started to watch your YouTube video channel which I have found to be more than just informative but also enjoyable. I work from home as an instructional designer but want to create a stream for a second income and want to give the ‘thrift n flip’ approach a go! But here comes a question which if you were given a pound for every time you answered it or indeed heard it would provide you with an additional income for yourself! So here goes. How do I get started?
    Kind Regards
    Mark McCreesh

    • Hi
I would suggest just jumping in with both feet, don’t worry about all the things that may go wrong, pick a few things and try to sell them, the best way to learn is by doing, and in reality it is actually pretty easy.
We wish you all the best with your venture
      Nic & Andrea

  2. Thanks Nic

    Hope you are well!

I have taken to have a look around a couple of charity shops in my area (Gateshead) and to be honest they do not come close to realising the hauls that you and Andrea gather from the charity shops where you live – there are certainly no buy one get one free offers or 3 for a £1 offers on DVD’s and CD’s and I asked the manager of one of the shops if they ever have board games that are sealed and brand new – they said very rarely or ever!

Are there differences from one Charity shop to the other? which ones in your opinion are better to frequent than others.
