We got to know Fake Rachel and Jamie via the wonderful world of YouTube a couple of years ago. Since then we have become good friends and chat with Fake Rachel on a daily basis. Their videos are always very informative and easy to watch. They have a wealth of reselling knowledge between them. Continue reading
Making videos on YouTube has brought many blessings and surprises, one of which was the meeting of two like minded resellers, Nic & Zaheer, approximately three years ago. Sharing an equal passion for their businesses, and a sense of humour, the two men have become firm friends, and a regular weekly ‘Tat Chat’ was born, airing live every Tuesday evening on YouTube. Early last year Zaheer came to visit us and he & Nic enjoyed a night out in Hitchin. Later that year we met again when we organised a reseller meet up, again in Hitchin, with more of our close knit reselling friends. We met Bec that weekend and a lot of fun was had. Continue reading

This month we are featuring our good friends Zaheer & Rebecca Malik. Nic & Zaheer got to know one another via their YouTube channels shortly after Nic started making YouTube videos about reselling. They have become firm friends in the 3 years that have followed. It’s been a true pleasure to get to know Zaheer & Bec, a lovelier couple you couldn’t meet, and I’m so happy to call them our friends. We recently sold the highest value item of our 15 year reselling career. Nic had purchased a job lot of vintage consoles, games and accessories and while researching prices in which to list everything, he came across this inconspicuous looking cartridge with a hand written label. At first he dismissed it, assuming it had no value as it had lost it’s label, and someone had replaced it with their own. He planned to bundle it along with an Atari console and some other lower value games. However, his curiosity was triggered, he had never seen an Atari game called ‘Hard Head’ before, perhaps even without the label it would still hold some individual value. Having done some further research he decided that perhaps this game was actually quite rare as there were no other ‘Hard Head’ Atari Cartridges currently listed or recently completed on eBay. He decided then that he would put the game on auction with a Buy It Now of £100! Continue reading
Our featured friend this month is Caroline (Mrs M). We came to know Caroline via the Reselling community and have become very good friends over the last couple of years. We have met in person twice. Once during the filming for a BBC episode of ‘Right On The Money’ and again last year at a (very fun) Reseller meet up (links for our YouTube videos below). We now chat every day online and are already planning this years meet up.
We asked Caroline to answer a few questions for us. So I’ll hand over to her to tell you a bit more about herself and how Reselling became a part of her life… Continue reading
When listing your clothing items for sale on eBay using some simple measurements will a) help to sell the item and b) reduce the amount of returns you will get due to the item not fitting on receipt. I made the mistake of thinking that women’s clothing didn’t need measuring, and the generic sizing label would be enough. A few returns, and requests for sizing, later I quickly changed my mind on this. Every brand has slightly different sizing, despite the generic sizing given. Without the luxury of trying an item of clothing on, extra measurements give a better idea of actual size and dimensions to fit the customer. Continue reading
We couldn’t have picked a better weekend for weather to visit Nic’s sister Katie and our brother-in-law Aaron, who after many years of residing in Brighton have stepped on to the property ladder and purchased a sweet Victorian 2 up 2 down terraced house in Worthing. Last weekend saw temperatures soar to 25 degrees, and it’s still only April! Continue reading
